They are thought to be caused by small pockets of collagen that get trapped in creases or thicker parts of the surface skin. These areas become aggravated by rubbing skin on skin and form the skin tag. There are many technical names for the tags that may be covered at a later time.

 We can be born with  skin blemishes and think nothing of them, however many may occur as we get into our late teens.

Or is it that we just notice them more at that stage of life? After all we may be entering into a dating phase of our life.

This is where we may look at our skin blemishes in a whole different light. And suddenly our lives are thrown into total panic.
